ABOUT ME
Well there's so much to tell about myself, I hardly know where to begin, so I'm going to try to be as brief as possible. My name is Marten a.k.a LOME. I was born in Sweden in 1982. Which makes me 29 years old and going on my 30th year next year. I'm a Virgo for those who want to know. I live in an idyllic small-town in the middle of Sweden called Ljusdal. A town which my great grandfather helped to build up, he came to Ljusdal in 1888 from Gunnarskog in Värmland, Sweden but made a stop on his way here in Hudiksvall. Where he practiced to become a full-time carpenter and later started his own business in Ljusdal. He was the first generation "non-blacksmither" in our family, which had been a tradition in our family for many hundred years. He is also an historical person as he brought the cinema to our town in 1912 which was one of the first cinemas in Sweden. He did this after he had been giving up his profession as a carpenter when a fire destroyed his workshop, during that same period between 1909 to 1911 he was also working as the first leaseholder in Ljusdal's Folk Park, probably one of the most known Folk Parks in Sweden at the time. Ljusdal never became a big town as originally planned and is now just one of those small towns that gets little attention, to work and live here is next to impossible for someone like me who wants to be able to reach out to people in some way. I've been living here all my life but constantly dream to leave this place, it's a drag. You can't really do anything here.

A few years ago I was studying in hopes I was going to work with wood sawing and drilling and stuff as a carpenter like my great grandfather. Now after years of unemployment and attending a couple of schools I've just about had enough. I've realised I don't have a future here. My life is crap and most of my friends these days live in America, that's where I'm headed, to wonderful Hollywood. I simply want to be somebody. Make people happy but most of all entertain, and be remembered long after I am gone. I have decided I'm going to force myself into the show business and I am destined to succeed. Whether that means I'm going to be a filmmaker or only an actor.
My goal though would be to start my own production company eventually, so that is what I am aiming for. I live very healthy, I'm a vegetarian and I eat meat from time to time, I don't smoke and I don't drink alcohol. I am currently single or maybe not, I'm known to be dating a certain celebrity from time to time. Friends I have a few of and Beyoncé the world famous singer is one of them. We have known each other since 2004. We are in fact also related to each other. I am a musician myself I actually played the drums earlier in my life, it never turned out to something and I never became a musician, well yet! There's still hope for me. Speaking of Beyoncé one of my biggest dreams right now is to write a manuscript for a future musical with her someday very soon.

When it comes to my spare time and interests I enjoy taking photographs for my websites, being outdoors, traveling, collecting CDs and DVDs and having some peace and quiet listening to music from the 60s. The Hollies, The Tremeloes and The Beach Boys are a few of those. I've actually seen all three of them perform live in concert. They were really great and you can see more of it through this link: Concert reviews. I've been a fan of the Beach Boys since I was a kid and The Tremeloes since a few years back, but my interest in The Hollies began in 1997 when I heard this wonderful song "The air that I breathe" now I'm probably a fan forever. I'm such a big fan that I've even been in contact with their ex lead singer Carl Wayne who was a former member of The Move another British band. I was casting him in the remake of Alias Smith and Jones, the biggest TV-show since Baywatch. Unfortunately he passed away a few weeks after he decided to participate and I had to spend months finding a replacement. I chose Dave Dee a very funny British musician. He too died basically the same way in 2009 and their character has now been dropped from the remake.

Here are some of the things I am currently doing:
Documenting old pictures, books and historical records that will soon be published through a known Swedish website, spending lots of time at the local unemployment office, searching for the past through genealogy, digging for old photographs at different image databases, filming, cutting, editing, making professional DVDs, mouse cursors, desktop-icons, photographing, using Photoshop a lot, working with sound, making animations etc. with Macromedia Flash, constantly writing scripts for future projects, working on four homepages, planning for my trip to the USA, dating women on the Internet from time to time and talking to my friends on MySpace.com. Yes I am a busy man even though I don't have a job yet.
